Email Setup and Management
Create mailbox
- Go to Mail.
- Click Create Email Address.
- Set mailbox name and domain.
- Set strong password.
- Save.
Configure mailbox limits and behavior
- Set mailbox quota per user.
- Configure forwarding if required.
- Configure autoresponder for out-of-office use.
- Add aliases where needed.
Mail client setup baseline
For Outlook/Gmail/mobile clients, provide:
- Incoming server (IMAP/POP)
- Outgoing server (SMTP)
- Port and encryption settings
- Full email username + password
Troubleshooting flow
Cannot send mail
- Verify SMTP auth enabled.
- Check password and quota.
- Check outbound limits.
Cannot receive mail
- Verify MX record.
- Check mailbox quota usage.
- Check spam/quarantine behavior.
Landing in spam
- Check SPF, DKIM, DMARC setup.
- Review sending reputation and content patterns.
