Email Setup and Management

Create mailbox

  1. Go to Mail.
  2. Click Create Email Address.
  3. Set mailbox name and domain.
  4. Set strong password.
  5. Save.

Configure mailbox limits and behavior

  • Set mailbox quota per user.
  • Configure forwarding if required.
  • Configure autoresponder for out-of-office use.
  • Add aliases where needed.

Mail client setup baseline

For Outlook/Gmail/mobile clients, provide:

  • Incoming server (IMAP/POP)
  • Outgoing server (SMTP)
  • Port and encryption settings
  • Full email username + password

Troubleshooting flow

Cannot send mail

  • Verify SMTP auth enabled.
  • Check password and quota.
  • Check outbound limits.

Cannot receive mail

  • Verify MX record.
  • Check mailbox quota usage.
  • Check spam/quarantine behavior.

Landing in spam

  • Check SPF, DKIM, DMARC setup.
  • Review sending reputation and content patterns.
