Move an existing website to Ncell Hosting with minimal downtime.
Step-by-step flow
- Upload website files to
httpdocs. - Create and import database.
- Update app config with new DB credentials.
- Test website on preview/temporary URL.
- Update DNS to cut over traffic.
Post-cutover checks
- Homepage and key pages load.
- Login/dashboard works.
- Forms submit correctly.
- Email notifications from website are working.
Rollback plan
- Keep old host active during propagation.
- Keep backup of old database and files.
- Repoint DNS to old host only if critical issue cannot be fixed quickly.
